Get empowered with TEDxGR

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - For the first time ever, TEDxGR is teaming up with the Women's Resource Center to offer an onsite information
session on February 19 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m..  This event gives you a chance to learn more about TEDxGrandRapids. If you love talking about ideas worth spreading with people who love our community, this is your chance to participate in a local version of the world renowned TED conference.  

At TEDxGrandRapids on May 9 at the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. As part of an initiative arming women with the tools to be economically independent, women are encouraged to share their ideas as thinkers and doers in the community, and to help contribute to our regional and national discussion.

Everyone is invited to apply, whether you have attended before or not. The TEDxGR team is looking for applicants from diverse experiences and backgrounds to create new community connections and more Ideas Worth Spreading. The day’s attendees are selected through an application process. Learn more about it by attending the information session at the Women's Resource Center on February 19.
