GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Many of us are feeling the painful effects of today's dramatic unemployment rate. West Michigan Center for Arts and Technology (WMCAT) works tirelessly to address unemployment and high school achievement by focusing on innovative adult career training and after school art programs.
WMCAT's mission is to provide a culture of opportunity for people to make economic and social progress in their lives, echoing throughout our community. WMCAT is hosting their annual I.BALL on February 28 2013, where they will give a big "WOW" thank you to their sponsors! The award winners are:
WOW Award for Innovation: Daniel Williams, UPrep Acadmy Principal
WOW Award for Imagination: Paul Amenta and Tom Clinton, Founders of SiTE:LAB
WOW Award for Inspiration: Matt Van Vranken, Executive Vice President of Spectrum Health Delivery System
