Lots to do at the library

Published : Thursday, 18 Oct 2012, 1:26 PM EDT

EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Unpredictable weather is one good reason to head indoors for entertainment in the fall. A terrific first stop is your local library.  At the Kent District East Grand Rapids branch, family is the focus of some fall events. Bring the kids to Curiosity day with Curious George or dive into a pile of a favorite childhood toy, Legos.  School age children will love Grossology Workshops, events oozing with science experiments. Adults can get into the act with computer classes and a Write Michigan competition. Submit your fiction or non-fiction entry by November 30 for this statewide chance to have your work published and perhaps win a cash prize, too.
