GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - They are short on medicine but not the conditions that call for it. Some are hungry and isolated without easy access to food. Both groups are being helped by First Hand Aid, a mission based in Grand Rapids that's making a positive impact in the lives of people living in Havana, Cuba. eightWest's Joy Walczak takes us to the island that few Americans are able to travel to to see First Hand Aid at work. The group's founder Marc Bohland brings a little flavor of the island West with his annual Havana Night fundraiser. He and special guest Havana resident Osmany Fernandez share mojitos and Cuban pork sandwiches with Rachael and Jordan and invite everyone to join in an evening of food and festive fun at Havana Night June 15.
