Excel-ent example of giving

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Students at Excel Charter Academy are raising the bar when it comes to putting their pledge to help others into action.  They collected more than five thousand pairs of shoes for In The Image to deliver to kids who might otherwise go without.   The Shoes Help Our Elementary Students program at In The Image makes it possible for students in Grand Rapids, Wyoming and Kentwood schools to get new shoes to start each new school year.
 The students at Cross Creek Charter Academy collected another five thousand pairs of shoes during the drive started by their Girls On The Run Teams.  To go with all of those shoes, In The Image is now asking for donations of brand new socks for children in kindergarten through eighth grade.  Take Action today by bringing in packages or pairs to In The Image on Division in Grand Rapids.
