Ernie, The Play opens

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Ernie,The Play was a huge hit in Detroit and now it's a Wealthy Theatre in Grand Rapids as a benefit for Hospice of Michigan.  Detroit Tigers alumni will be at the opening event on September 12 to greet theater goers who will enjoy the story of famed Tigers' broadcaster Ernie Harwell on stage, a play penned by author and sports writer Mitch Albom.  Meijer is sponsoring the run of the show.
