WALKER, Mich. (WOOD) - One of Rachael's favorite restaurants in Grand Rapids is opening another eatery in Standale. It's called The Crooked Goose and they're bringing all the stuff that makes their other restaurant, Twisted Rooster to it, with a few new twists and spins. Rachael gives some of their signatures dishes a big thumbs up and invites you to check out their culinary creativity. On the menu you'll find Sweet & Spicy Volcano Straws, Gator Tail and a Crooked Brownie, which is loaded with marshmallows, peanut butter cups, chocolate chips, Rice Krispies and cookie dough. The Crooked Goose serves lunch and dinner and it's open seven days a week starting June 11. Stop by, but no need to call ahead - they don't take reservations. The restaurant is located at the corner of Wilson and Lake Michigan Drive in the Standale business district in Walker. The Meritage Hospitality Group does it up right! It's the largest restaurant group in the state and it's based in Grand Rapids. With the addition of this restaurant, they've added more than 100 new jobs to West Michigan.
