Diaper changing record challenged

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Here's a number that might surprise you:  49 million disposable diapers are thrown away in the United States every day.  Just one baby who wears disposables can create a ton of diaper waste.   There's a big green effort going on April 21 to celebrate Earth Day and put a whole lot of little bottoms in clean cloth diapers.  Smart Bottoms CEO Christy Malone teams up with Hop Scotch Children's Store owner Rachel Zylstra to share an invitation to the Great Cloth Diaper Change and encourage the use of cloth diapers daily.
