GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - In West Michigan, we are really very lucky to have such an extensive medical community.  When something like cancer strikes, knowing who to turn to is crucial. Spectrum Health Medical Group has a comprehensive program to help. Doctor Andrea Wolf joins us to share what they're specializing in. Spectrum Health's Comprehensive Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) Foregut Program includes diagnosis and treatment of cancers as well as diseases of the foregut, which includes the pancreas, esophagus, liver, stomach, gall bladder,  duodenum, bile duct and small bowel. The group's fast-tracked diagnosis and treatment plan includes seeing new patients within one week of referral and determining the right treatment plan, causing a greater likelihood of a better outcome with quick response. Their comprehensive services include treating both benign tumors as well as cancer in all regions of the foregut. They offer nonsurgical diagnosis and treatment options for some early stage tumors in these regions and, when deemed necessary, minimally invasive surgery.  Their physician team includes three physicians with advanced fellowship training with expertise in the areas of surgical oncology, gastroenterology, interventional endoscopy and hepatopancreatobiliary surgery.
