GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Design, art, and history come together to shape the urban environments we live in. Whether you're from Grand Rapids, Detroit, or faraway cities like Cairo or Rome, an exhibition at the Grand Rapids Art Museum takes a look at how the cities we live in influence us. The idea is that the cities we live in can help shape us and we can shape them. Cities in Transition is a four suite exhibition that starts with the question, "What Happened Here?"
There's so much to see in all four areas, you may want to tackle it in multiple visits and enjoy some of the additional programming and collaborations that go along with it. We've got a link on our website with the long list, plus you can get a coupon to see the exhibit for just $2 on site at GRAM on the Green, or by downloading at www.artmuseumgr.org .
