Belgian style beer on tap

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Craft beer lovers know that Belgian beer is in a class of its own.  It's the style of beer made at a popular brewery in West Michigan, Brewery Vivant.   Beer aficionados say it's the yeast that makes the difference, but that's just one of the things that makes it special.  Starting August 27, D&W and Family Fare will carry four brands of beer made by New Belgian Brewery including the famous "Fat Tire" beer.  If you're interested in seeing behind the scenes at Brewery Vivant, you can take a 40 minute tour with beer samples for $5 on Saturdays, at 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. No appointment is needed.  Rachael takes us inside Brewery Vivant with Amy Sherman, host of the Great American Brew Trail.
