GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - This is the time of year when we can see all kinds of weather, a little chilly in the morning and warm, beautiful sunshine in the afternoon, but we know before too long the chill will settle in for a while. Take Action Today to help In The Image help others keep warm when the temperatures drop. In the Image is stocking up on cold weather clothing for kids and adults. Supplies are really low, so what they need are your donations of gently used coats, jackets, long pants, sweaters, hats, mittens and boots. In the Image serves everyone in the family, so men's, women's and children's clothing and outwear of all sizes are needed, including items for babies.
One thing they are really short on right now are shoes for the smallest children. When your kids have outgrown a pair, consider passing them on to In the Image who will give them to someone who might otherwise go without. You can donate at In the Image , which is located at 1823 South Division in Grand Rapids weekdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon. Financial contributions are always needed and can easily be made on line at www.intheimage.org or by giving them a call at 616-456-6150.
