NEW YORK CITY, New York (WOOD) - This month, the biggest names in fashion came together for New York City for Fashion Week; an opportunity to preview the clothes and styles we'll be seeing in stores and magazines this fall. Rachael Ruiz had the opportunity to travel to the Big Apple to get a behind the scenes look at some of the hottest looks on the runway, including West Michigan fashion designer, Pamella DeVos' line, Pamella Roland .
Her Fall 2013 line featured leathers, metallic tweeds, exquisite brocades and ornate hand-beading all in a dark color palette inspired by a trip to St. Petersburg, Russia. The runway was filled with a haunting color palette of black, navy, plum and hints of gold metallic.
According to fashion paper, "Women's Wear Daily," Pamella Roland's Fall 2013 collection was dark in mood and color pallet, highlighted by beautiful satin print pieces that evoked pure opulence and her chinchilla handbag was declared a must-have accessory this season. The paper also hailed her collection as a season to cheer.
