ArtPrize Live - how it's done

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Planning and event the size of ArtPrize takes months and even years of dedicated hard work and the same is true for bringing you television from the heart of the action.  With eightWest and our 24 Hour News8 newscasts combined, we'll be broadcasting seven hours of live shows each weekday and more than forty hours of programming each week from our studio inside the Grand Rapids Art Museum.  Rachael shows us a a behind the scenes look at how we're able to do it.  Our production staff invested huge amounts of time, knowledge, attention to detail to get it done, and it costs a lot of money to make this all happen, too.  We've expanded our efforts this year by adding a whole other operation outside at Rosa Parks Circle, our Art Van Concert Series.
