GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - During her career in public service, Madeleine Albright famously used her jewelry to communicate her moods and diplomatic messages. Read My Pins: The Madeleine Albright Collection reveals an intriguing story of American history and foreign policy as told through Secretary Albright's jeweled pins.
The exhibit accompanies Secretary Albright's latest book , "Read My Pins: Stories from a Diplomat's Jewel Box." Both the book and the exhibit explore the stories behind her pins, their political and diplomatic significance and information on their designers.
This national traveling exhibit has been at famous museums including the Smithsonian and the Clinton Presidential Center and is now showing at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids . The exhibit will be on display now through April 21, 2013.
