A Christmas Carol takes the stage

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Come celebrate the holidays with Dickens' A Christmas Carol on stage at Grand Rapids Civic Theatre through December 18. On November 29, take advantage of a Day of Giving Special. You can get fabulous seats for $10 off in seating tier one and two and $5 off in seating tier three. This special is their way of expressing their thanks for 67 Christmas Carol volunteers who put so much into this amazing production. Joy caught up with Grand Rapids Civic Theatre veteran Steve Place who plays Scrooge and West Michigan newcomer with lots of West Coast stage experience Bart Sumner, known also as The Ghost of Christmas Present. Both encourage families to make a night of it and embrace the holiday spirit by taking in this wonderful show as a holiday treat.
