A boaters paradise at DeVos Place

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - This weekend marks the 68th Anniversary of the Grand Rapids Boat Show and if you're a water sports enthusiast, you won't want to miss this.

Besides Motor Yachts and Cruisers the show will feature Catamarans, Tugs, Trawlers, and even a new Australian marvel, Sealegs  The show features an array of runabouts, fishing boats, ski and wake boards, pontoons and deck boats. 

Besides finding your dream boat, the show will offer special interactive demonstrations and attractions through out the weekend including:

Live Shark Encounter
This is the only traveling shark show in the United States! One look into the eyes of a live shark and you will understand the heart-pounding "awe and fascination" felt by visitors.

Meet Professional Wake Boarders
Professional wake boarders, Rusty Malinoski and Erik Ruck, will be at the show throughout the weekend hanging out in the Action Water Sports display!

Grand City Show Skiers
The 2010 Division II National Show Ski Champion Grand City Show Skiers will be performing a live demonstration of many aspects of show skiing, including the human pyramid.

Dive Tank
Explore under the water! If you've ever wanted to give diving a shot here's your chance to suit up and get your feet wet in the demonstration tank brought to you by the Great Lakes Dive Locker.  

The Grand Rapids Boat Show takes place Thursday, February 14 through Sunday, February 17 at DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids. Tickets are $10 for adults and $4 for kids. Hours are as follows:

Thursday, February 15 from 3 - 9:30 p.m.
Friday, February 16 from 11 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Saturday, February 17 from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Sunday, February 18 from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
