GRANDVILLE, Mich. (WOOD) - We all like to cash in on savings during the holiday season, and one sure stop for great deals is your local Goodwill retail store or Blue Boutique. Did you know that your donations to Goodwill can actually save you some money on your gifts? Jill Wallace of Goodwill Industries explains the connection. On December 6 through 11, Younkers is having a Goodwill sale with extended store hours from 7 a.m. - 11 p.m. On December 6, customers will earn double coupons. For every item donated, customers receive a 25% off Younkers coupon, so if you donate ten items, you earn ten coupons, or twenty coupons on December 6! Bring donations to the top level east side entrance of Younkers at RiverTown Crossings . Look for the Goodwill truck for the right entrance. You can donate clothing, toys, electronics - any items that fit in their big blue bins! It's also the time of year to pull out those holiday sweaters, especially the big blingy ones. Plan to put one on for the Blue Holiday Sweater Party December 6 at Blue Boutique at MoDiv in downtown Grand Rapids at 40 Monroe Center. Enjoy shopping, appetizers and holiday cheer, and bring two "Blue-worthy" donations for admission to this private event. Get in the spirit with Goodwill!
