ALLENDALE, Mich. (WOOD) - There is something for all women to relate to when the Vagina Monologues take the stage. Each actor shares an experience related to being female in an effort to find common ground, share love and peace, and bring a message of hope to women who are beaten down around the world. Students and actors from across West Michigan are coming together in collaboration with Grand Valley State University's Women's Center to present this ever changing dialogue three times this week. Proceeds from each performance go mainly to local programs working to end violence against women and part will also benefit women in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
