GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Step into Rachael's kitchen with one of our favorite fit friends, Michele Fife for a quick less to help you pamper yourself at home! Michele uses herbs to make you look and feel better.  As the owner of Seva Yoga, Michele is dedicated to a natural and fit life and loves to share what she discovers and does for herself with anyone who wants to feel good for less. Her simple recipe for a home facial starts with licorice root which rids your skin of impurities.  Next she adds lavender for it's calming and aromatherapy benefits.  Another choice is chamomile, which is calming and relaxing for your skin. To create Michele's home facial, combine licorice root, lavender and chamomile with lemongrass. Boil the herbs in a pot and let them steep for 10 minutes. Put a towel over your head and steam your face for 5 to 10 minutes over the pot.  For soft skin, rub refined sesame oil into your skin.  It's good for all skin types.  To create an inexpensive home scrub, combine extra virgin olive oil and sea salt.  Rub it on the back of your hands, face and heels.  You can add lavender for scent.  With these steps, it's easy to have great skin!
