Meet the 2012 RiverTown Fashionista

GRANDVILLE, Mich. (WOOD) - We sent Rachael to her natural habitat: the mall!  She is eightWest's 2012 RiverTown Fashionista for the back to school season.  Follow her on air, on twitter and facebook and on her blog for the next few weeks as she discovers the best back to school fashions for kids of all ages, from pre-school and elementary school to high school and college.  As an added bonus, we're giving away the featured outfits as well as $500 shopping sprees to RiverTown Crossings !  Be sure to enter the upcoming contests starting the week of August 18.

Can you believe it's that time of year again? We're all swapping beach bags for backpacks, flip flops for school shoes and short sleeves for sweaters! 

But no tears, my fellow fashionistas! The end of summer break doesn't have to be a major drag. It just means we have football games, harvest parties, school pictures and a ton of other cool things to look forward to! You know what my goal is as the RiverTown Fashionista? (And I take my work very seriously...) I want to help YOU look and feel your very best as you head back to school!

I've been scouring the best stores at RiverTown Crossings from top to bottom. I'm going to cover it all... jackets, jeans, jewelry... shoes, shirts, sunglasses... book bags, belts and even berets. All the must have trends, colors, and looks that are super hot this school year. You know, the kind of stuff you just can't live without? Believe me, you'll be leading the fashion parade this year at your school!

Just to make it easy, I'm going to break it down in a few categories. Delicious duds for those heading to elementary and preschool. Tasty trends for pre-teens and teens in middle and high school. And some crazy coolicious college clothes. (Is anyone else getting hungry here?) 

Here's the best part... or maybe second best, compared to how fab you're going to look. RiverTown Crossings has graciously agreed to give all of these outfits away. Can you say... AMAZING!!!
