BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) - We know October kicks off a time of celebrations typically called "Oktoberfests", events that often include a wide variety of events and activities.  Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek takes a unique twist on the Oktoberfest experience with an event that includes cool safari animals - the "Bontebok" - so the event is called the BontebOktoberfest! The Bonteboktoberfest takes place Friday, October 7th, from 6pm to 10pm and pre-sale tickets cost just $40 per person. You can also register to win a pair of tickets to BontebOktoberfest here with eightWest.   Another event they're having is called the "Howl-A-Palooza" event which spotlights National Wolf Awareness Week. It's coming up this weekend with special programs and educational opportunities. Binder Park Zoo is located just off I-94,east of Battle Creek and this is the last regular weekend of the zoo operation at Binder Park for 2011
