Grand Rapids, MI (WOODTV) - Some elementary students in Grand Rapids were given the chance to do something they might not have ever done before. They were able to give gifts to their family and friends.
Through a 25 year partnership with Amway, Grand Rapids Public School's Burton Elementary hosted a week long Santa's Workshop. Children in the school were given "Amway Bucks" to purchase gifts for their family and friends.
In the workshop, students were accompanied by Amway volunteers and students from Ottawa Hills. They helped teach the elementary school students life lessons on money management, sharing and work.
