Celebrating 20 Years of Miracles

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - WOTV 4 and Helen DeVos Children's Hospital teamed up for the 20th Annual Celebration for Helen DeVos Children's Hospital broadcast live on WOTV 4 Sunday, May 31 from 8am to 6pm. Together we raised more than $3-million-dollars to fund programs that address the health care needs of all children in West Michigan, regardless of their ability to pay.

WOTV 4 and WOOD TV 8 personalities Maranda, Eva Aguirre Cooper and Storm Team 8 meteorologists Bill Steffen and Terri DeBoer hosted the Celebration with Tommy and Brook of Star 105.7.

Throughout the ten-hour broadcast, we celebrated miracles by sharing the survival stories of many children whose lives have been touched by Helen DeVos Children's Hospital over the past two decades while viewers called in and pledged their support.  All proceeds raised stay in West Michigan to support programs and services of Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, West Michigan’s only Children’s Miracle Network hospital. Children's Miracle Network is a national program that raises both funds and awareness for the special health care needs of children.
