Grand Rapids -
The first annual "Connecting With Community Award" will be presented January 22, 2009.
It will honor a collaboration working to meet a need in West Michigan. We're taking a closer look at the eight finalists, including one that is tackling a topic few people want to talk about.  Hospice of Michigan teamed with film and marketing professionals and many volunteers to bring the story of end of life care to the big screen.  One aim is to encourage conversations at home.
