Air duct cleaning is the term commonly applied to the work performed by professional HVAC cleaning contractors. In order to obtain the most effective results and maintain acceptable indoor air quality, it is commonly recommended that mold/fungi, dust and other contaminants be cleaned from all portions of the HVAC system.

Stanley Steemer employs the recommended cleaning method, which is source removal. This is the mechanical cleaning of the system components to remove dirt and debris. Source removal method employs large vacuum units, compressed air, mechanical brushes and other tools to loosen dirt and debris and convey it to the vacuum unit for proper disposal.

In layman terms, Stanley Steemer agitates the dust and debris in the HVAC system and extracts it into a large Hepa vacuum unit.
