GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - 24 Hour News 8 is moving downtown for ArtPrize 2012.
Starting at 5 p.m. Tuesday and running through the end of ArtPrize, 24 Hour News 8 will broadcast live from our Grand Rapids Art Museum studio.
Every broadcast -- Daybreak, eightWest, and newscasts at noon, 5 p.m., 6 p.m., 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. -- will be live from the GRAM studio in Grand Rapids.
You are invited to come watch the newscasts and get a behind-the-scenes look at how 24 Hour News 8 works.
You may even be able to jockey your way onto television as part of the crowd at Rosa Parks Circle seen behind the anchors.
There will also be opportunities to meet on-air personalities and receive 24 Hour News 8 merchandise giveaways on the weekends.
The one-hour ArtPrize shortlist special will also air on WOOD TV8 at 7 p.m. on Sept. 24. The winners of ArtPrize 2012 will be announced in a one-hour special Oct. 5 at 8 p.m. on WOOD TV8.
