Jessica Leffler, Reporter

Jessica Leffler joined WOOD TV8 after reporting for Traverse City's WPBN/WTOM for nearly three years.

A Michigan native, she double majored in journalism and social relations at James Madison College of Michigan State University. While at MSU, she began her news career.

She worked at WJRT in Flint for three years as a news-assistant and Special Investigations assistant.

In 2006, she won a merit award from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters in the Best Series category.

Jessica is married and loves the state of Michigan. She likes spending time with her family, walking her dog and rooting for MSU sports teams, especially basketball.
