Jason Terzis is 24 Hour News 8's Weekend Sports Anchor and the producer of Sports Overtime, a Sunday night sports wrap-up program.

Jason has covered everything from little league sports, to the NCAA Basketball Tournament, Detroit Tigers Spring Training and the Daytona 500, but enjoys covering local sports, especially high school sports, the most.

In 2002, the Associated Press chose his story on the life and career of Hall of Fame broadcaster Ernie Harwell was chosen as the Best Sports Feature that year.

A graduate of the University of Miami (Florida), he worked in Miami and Macon, Georgia before joining 24 Hour News 8 on Christmas Day 1997. He and his wife, Deborah, live in the Grand Rapids area.
