24 Hour News 8 Anchor Brian Sterling

Brian Sterling brings the experience of covering presidents, popes, Pulitzer Prize winners and pop stars to the 24 Hour News 8 anchor desk four times each weekday.
A Detroit-area native, Brian graduated from MSU's James Madison College. He began on the campus radio station, became a news-and-sports anchor for the Michigan News Network, then moved to television as the chief political reporter for Lansing's WILX.
He's earned the recognition of the Michigan Association of Broadcasters for breaking news coverage. He's also earned a regional Emmy for his community service.
He's currently the co-anchor of 24 Hour News 8 at 5pm, 24 Hour News 8 at 6pm, 24 Hour News 8 at 10pm on WXSP and 24 Hour News 8 at 11pm.
