Anne Schieber has worked television broadcast news for a number of years. She returned to the Grand Rapids market to raise her family and joined 24 Hour News 8 in 1998.

She has filed hundreds of stories covering a broad range of issues. Currently, she covers investigative stories for Your Money. Last year, the Associated Press named her first place in Best Individual Reporting for her investigative reports and live coverage. Her 2007 series on Michigan Speed limits won honorable mention from the Michigan Broadcasters Association and her reports on Michigan’s Driver Responsibility Fees were widely received.

Anne grew up in New Jersey and worked on-camera in the Philadelphia area after graduating from Villanova University. Her career has taken her to Buffalo, Philadelphia and Minneapolis.

Among many awards, she's won the Journalist of the Year from the Michigan Small Business Administration and honors from the West Michigan Public Relations Association, Michigan Broadcasters Association, Associated Press and the Michigan Bar.

In 2000, she earned a fellowship to the Business Seminar for Journalists at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Anne has volunteered for a wide variety of organizations over the years including the Grand Rapids Youth Symphony. She served as judge for four years in the West Michigan Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

She enjoys reading, writing, running, and travel.

Anne resides in Cascade Township with her family.
