Marlee Ginter joins 24 Hour News 8 from Seattle, where she worked as an anchor/reporter at KOMO TV. Ginter co-anchors 24 Hour News 8 at 10 on WXSP alongside Brian Sterling, and will report for 24 Hour News 8 at 5, 6 and 11.

Born in the Philippines, she later moved with her family to the United States and graduated from the University of Florida. She began in television first as an anchor/reporter in Savannah, Georgia, then moved to Spartanburg, South Carolina and quickly became known as the “reporter holding authorities accountable." She also worked at WOOD TV8's sister station in Indianapolis, WISH TV.

Ginter’s passion for investigative reporting is what fuels her in-depth daily reporting. Her dedication to journalism has won her numerous awards in television markets across the country, including “Reporter of the Year” in South Carolina, and an Environmental Journalism award for her stories on the disposal of a dangerous gas in Indianapolis.
